Negotiate successfully, nurture relationships and create better culture

With The Face Whisperer for Meetings and Negotiations

How can body language help you run meetings better?

In business, relationships matter, with your customers, with your colleagues and with your partners too. But when you get together, things aren’t always easy. How many times have you come out of a meeting thinking it went well, but then –

Nothing happens… The deal isn’t done… The problems you discussed don’t actually get solved… And the planning certainly doesn’t go to plan.

Thankfully, there’s a failsafe way to make sure every meeting you hold isn’t wasted, and that you always achieve the very best outcome possible between whoever’s in the room.

By paying careful attention to the body language around the room, you can get so much more out of every meeting – including the best result from complex negotiations, increased productivity and a better staff culture too.

Or in other words, more money, less stress and happier people all round.

Cost per meeting attendance start from £1,250 +VAT

Want to learn the quick wins that’ll improve the outcome of your very next meeting?

How will you turn your meetings around?

All too often, the tensions and nuances of personal relationships mean messages get confused and meetings don’t go as you’d hoped. Arguments happen, so do awkward silences, even happy agreements can be misleading if you don’t know how people are really feeling below the surface.

Which is exactly why I’ll help you identify all the subliminal responses in your discussions and interpret the true meaning of the body language you see. Because when you know how people really feel, you can validate those feelings, ask meaningful questions and move forward cohesively – which won’t necessarily be the way you first thought.

How does the process work during your meetings?

As a qualified Neuro-Linguistic Programming Coach and body language expert I can sit in on your meetings and help you reach the very best outcomes possible.

I’ll make the observations and take the notes for you, I’ll even make suggestions for things to ask and where to spend more time, to make sure your meetings aren’t just positive in the moment – but that things get done as a result too. The process will look like this…

1. Pre-meeting brief to discuss win/win scenarios

2. Stakeholder analyses to understand feelings and potential wins

3. Tactical, live support during meetings

4. Feedback including recommendations for the next step

Have Questions? I'm here For You

First things first, don’t introduce me as a psychiatrist. An adviser, a “deal optimiser” or an impartial observer will do. Explain that I’m there to support both parties to achieve a better outcome, and be as upfront as you like – if the other party knows my presence is for their benefit as well as yours, they should be fine with it.

We’ll work out a way that suits you in during our pre-meeting brief, but it’ll probably look something like one of these three tried and tested methods:

  • I’ll be an active participant, asking questions, prompting validation, helping tease out feelings
  • I’ll be passive, observing and noting responses for a debrief later on
  • I won’t say anything out loud, but I’ll communicate my observations to you privately and subtly (especially apt for Zoom meetings!)
Sure, but not quickly. The basics are simple enough, but to be able to recognise and interpret facial expressions reliably in real time takes years. I’m 20 years in, and I’ve developed my knowledge through thousands of different situations. Offline analysis is easier though, so if I can help you there, just let me know.
