I hope viral videos and voice-notes will be one of the last things I forget about this pandemic.

The lockdown 2 lawyer who got stuck behind a cat filter as he “Zoomed” in on a court case…
And, of course, the wonderful Handforth Parish Council meeting that got the whole nation laughing in exasperation during lockdown 3.
As you can probably imagine, I had some trouble trying to interpret any of the facial emotions given away by the cat-lawyer and the lasagne man, namely because I couldn’t see either of their faces.
But the Parish Council meeting participants? Now those were a treat.
There was so much anger and disrespect betrayed by some of those faces.
And the obvious fear and emotional reactions were rather extreme among others too.
How “JACKIE WEAVER!!” managed to remain so poised throughout the exchange, I’m not entirely sure. Maybe she’s an expert in faces and emotions too.
You see, when you understand emotions and triggers (and what they look like on a face), you’re able to work out how best to respond, no matter what’s been said.
I think we’d all agree the rest of that Parish Council could use a few lessons in this area – but do you think they’d take my advice?
